Speakers with DBB Offer Full Sound and Rich Bass
The Philips micro music system is a bass reflex speaker system, which means its bass pipe is acoustically aligned to the woofer to extend the overall low frequency and minimize distortion. Dynamic Bass Boost (DBB) provides deep bass at the touch of a button so you can hear the full sound range, even when your music is playing at low volume.
Digital sound control offers optimized settings for different music styles. The two built-in speakers deliver 15 watts RMS total output power and include 2.75-inch woofer drivers.
Play Music from Docked Devices, CDs, USB Drives, and More
Dock your iPod or iPhone in the centered port to play music or podcasts while simultaneously charging your device. You can also listen to music from most other devices--plug your thumb drive into the USB port and the system will play your stored content. The aux-in jack lets you connect any music device with a headphone jack to the system with a stereo cord (not included). And just behind the dock, a motorized door conceals a CD player.
FM Radio with Presets and RDS Information
You can program up to 20 of your favorite FM radio stations with the system's station presets. The system displays Radio Data System (RDS) information, so you can find stations by name if you don't know their frequencies. You can also view additional RDS data on the unit's LCD screen with an optional subscription.
Tabletop Unit Can Be Wall Mounted
The micro music system is less than 16 inches wide and 4 inches deep and comes with a removable stand, giving it a small footprint on your table or counter. For flexibility, it can also be mounted on the wall using the two included screws. You can control the volume and switch tracks from anywhere in the room with the system's 31-key remote control.
